WELCOME TO REGROUNDED
Most people who reach out appear fine on the outside. Even very well sometimes.
But they may be facing a difficult decision, going through a major life change or becoming less certain about a direction that once felt clear.
If that sounds familiar, you’re in the right place.
HI THERE, I’M PETER
My background combines psychology, consulting and a life built across countries.
I studied psychology at King's College London and the London School of Economics, then spent five years in management consulting.
Along the way, I became interested in why so many competent people I knew had lives that still worked on the surface, but felt unclear on the inside.
This became the starting point for Regrounded, where I offer 1:1 psychological consultation around difficult decisions, major life changes and periods of uncertainty.
Areas we might explore together
-

PRESSURE & BALANCE
Everything is still getting done. You're just not sure how much longer you can keep doing it this way.
-

RELATIONSHIPS
Something in a relationship has changed but it isn’t yet clear what that means or what should happen next.
-

CAREER & DIRECTION
Is this actually where you want to go or just where you ended up?
-

IDENTITY & BELONGING
Are you finding yourself rethinking who you are and where you feel at home?
HOW IT WORKS
In practice, you usually come with a specific question or tension you're experiencing.
Usually by this point, you have already thought a lot about the issue on your own.
Together we look at the situation itself and how you’ve been thinking about it. The longer a question stays with you, the more assumptions, expectations and fears can build up around it until the situation itself becomes harder to see clearly.
The value of psychological consultation is to examine a situation that has become difficult to see clearly from the inside.
From there, we can look more closely at why the question has remained unresolved and what possibilities are actually available to you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
A structured conversation for people trying to understand something in their life more clearly.
It can help when you're facing questions around identity, direction, work or relationships. The aim is to help you think more clearly about what's happening, what it means and what may need to change.
Not a diagnosis and not a list of instructions.
Some people arrive with a specific question. Others just know something isn't working but they don’t know what to change and where to start.
-
You don't need to arrive with a perfectly defined problem.
People often come with questions like:
Why does my life look fine but feel wrong?
Why am I no longer sure about the path I'm on?
Why do I keep repeating the same patterns in work or relationships?
What's changed in me and what needs to come next?
-
A free 30-minute conversation.
We'll talk about what you're going through, what made you reach out, and whether working together makes sense.
It's not a commitment, and there's no pressure to continue. The aim is simply to understand whether Regrounded is the right place for the question you're bringing. -
Both.
Some come for a single session around a specific question. Others return during longer periods of change, when new questions arise, difficult decisions get closer or life circumstances shift.
There's no fixed structure. You decide what works for your needs.
-
The first call is free. Paid consultation comes after, if it makes sense for both of us. This will always be discussed clearly before anything begins.
-
No. Regrounded is not psychotherapy, clinical psychology, or psychiatric treatment. I don't diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
The focus is on non-clinical questions and situations you want to understand more clearly, such as decisions, relationships, career direction or major life changes. -
This is grounded in psychological education and practical experience, not a fixed program or motivational advice.
We look at how you think, feel, relate, decide and make meaning. We also look at the wider context around you including your work, relationships and any pressures you're experiencing.
The aim is to understand the pattern behind what is happening. Why this question or life situation has become difficult now, what it could be pointing to and what kind of change would make sense from here.
-
Yes. What you share stays private.
There are limits to confidentiality if there's a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. Otherwise, the conversation stays between us.
Whatever brought you here, the work has a clear psychological structure and is shaped around your specific situation.
